Let’s be honest. New “Specialist” are basically a new gadget. So let’s not make a big deal about a new gadget that also happens to have a new skin.
Id take BF4 classes with the various gadgets and perks we could swap in and out over “Specialists” any day. Between the BF4 gadgets and perks, there’s a lot more potential ability combinations we can field than we see with any “specialist”/gadget with a skin.

@Psychopski Well it's sort of a big deal and immersion breaking when you have a bunch of clones running around for both factions.
Even Call of duty got that right with faction specific skins.
So honestly specialists were on of the biggest turn offs to me for 2042, and I've loved every battlefield since BF2

- 3 years ago@RayD_O1 I actually liked how they did skins for BFV. Each faction had there own unique uniforms and skins. I get the whole non-pats theme they wanted but really it could have been just two PMCs aligning with either side to duke it out. The current state just seems lazy and doing the minimal skinning possible to still have a game.
