Stuck around for Portal but I am done with Battlefield. I have far too much respect for myself to play this cringey, childish game that is clearly designed for 10 year olds. I'm not even going to talk about other game design issues like lack of classes, teamwork, vehicle movement, no destruction, map design, legacy features etc..
The skins they released today is the icing on the cake for the cartoonish specialists, cringey call outs and their end of round quips.
This is my last post in the forums and I won't be playing this game or any future BF games as the direction is clear. I'd like to say goodbye to all the wonderful people on here who I interacted with over the past few months
EA and DICE, you destroyed my favorite franchise you absolute clowns.
Battlefield has lost its identify. BF3, Bf4 we played as modern soldiers fighting for supernations. The silliest thing we got was a bipod knife.
Bf1 has weapons skins but at all times you still felt like a ww1 soldier.
BFV got a little silly. Elite skins were in the game but you still looked somewhat like a soldier.
BF2045. LOLOLOLOLOL! I'm Santa!
This is the last chance for DICE to make full 180 and make another Battlefront 2 situation. When after huge backlash they actually made decent game.
Lets hope they will pull out BORIS Santa from the game.

It is truly sad that alot of us feel like leaving this franchise is now our only option but I'm with you, thank you to every single one of you who was on the Battlefield with me in the previous games. It was an absolute blast.
likewise, i signed in to say the same thing. while the last BF i purchased was BF3 since the ones after started to show signs of grubby practices, and V and now 2042 have sealed it. i wont be returning and will give up on it .
i had great times with fellow digital comrades and enemies in BF2 and 3, thankyou for the fun and i wish you all the best in your different games of choice.
well done EA, you forced me to let go of an all time favorite.
