@RaginSamWalked up on three players last evening, they were camping a door on redacted and I had them cold. Put 41 rounds into their backs from an M5, and they look less than half damage each. I have no idea if it’s a console compensation issue, but it sure as heck is a hit registration issue. My ping was 27, ALAT of 48. The hit registration felt way off. The round before was 79 and 60, which felt slow and laggy to play on, but my shots hit. That makes no sense why a poor connection should give me better hit registration.

I've had so many instances like that as well. I spend so much time reloading in this damn game because of this hit reg.
I try to pay attention to my latency and the Time Nudge, but it doesn't seem consistent regardless. Sometimes the game feels okay, sometimes not so much.

The whole round is like that, not a stable moment in the game. The hit reg is abysmal. I’m not even talking giant spikes, just a constant jitter of a connection. Other times it’s a relatively smooth line, it may be higher or lower but it’s pretty stable. Hit reg is much improved. For ourselves the obvious answer is a server browser, so I could return to the smooth servers and avoid the erratic ones. That’s not a choice we get though thanks to the cheapness and shortsightedness of Dice / EA.
