Fans only wanted a realistic FP military shooter and got this broke cartoon for $100. You had 3-years (with no campaign to work on) and came up with this trash. I just don’t understand how anyone in charge could let this crap ship and think it’s ok..

I’ve seen you on multiple post today taking up for this game. I’m guessing you do damage control perhaps for Dice/EA (good luck with that 👍). I not here to cause further problems.. I’ve played this game for almost 2 decades and have waited through all the launch bugs. I want 2042 to succeed more than anything but feel the franchise is chasing COD instead of being the classic Battlefield we all love. Having to back out of a server (every game) to start with all new players kills all team play & continuity. We don’t even know how we’ve ranked in a match beause there’s no scoring. I think people hate the arcade goofy specialist most of all. The game has potential but needs serious attention before it become irrelevant. It feels the devs have a serious disconnect with what the customers would pay huge money to attain.God bless 👍

It freezes, bad hit registration, gun blooming, map balance, no scoreboard, etc. if you think it was just my “expectations” that were disappointed... check YouTube, Reddit, or ANY review ANYWHERE. Everyone is extremely disappointed and you obviously can’t be serious to think it’s just me 😂😂BTW.. BF4 was pretty good and somewhat realistic. I WANT THE GAME TO WORK but it came out in a extremely broken state. The specialist are beyond childish (unless your between the age of 8-12)

Hi Blueberry Thanks for responding. I think the community can deal with the bugs and things that comes with many Battlefield launches. The graphics/huge-maps are awesome and I’m excited about that aspect of the game. The biggest thing everyone hates is the specific soldier selection as specialist. Perhaps a black female that wants to use the grappling hook doesn’t wanna run around the map looking like Mackay. The specialist are extremely bad and the lines (after the game) are even worse. It has such a arcade (unrealistic) feel that kills the immersion of a all out war triple A game. I think if we could pick soldiers that we enjoy playing with and choose our special ability (like a wing suit) it would change everything. I would settle for simply changing the heads out on the different specialist with some of the soldiers from portal. It’s just very un-realistic to see 4 Mackay characters in the same vehicle (especially when he is such a annoying character to start with). Having to play with these cheesy characters have killed the realistic feel that Battlefield has given in past titles. Simply more variety (helmets, tops, pants, boots) and a choice of different looks for characters would make the community very enthused. Thank You for listening

@EA_BlueberryThat’s the point a lot of players don’t want to be “heros” they want to assault/support/etc… with realistic looking military uniforms.We all know specialists (heros) are for selling skins, but for gosh sakes, you would have people buying all sorts of stuff if you were to make it more “realistic”.At least on my end I have no plans to buy any skin for anyone as I find most if the specialists annoying and ridiculous.IMO

@CLEMSONU Battlefield was never a realistic FP military shooter, it always was an Action Team Shooter since Battlefield 1942....

Why it is misleading? Have you don't read the Backstory on the page? have you not informed you self before buying? Have you not played the Beta?

Since the Beta everyone should know in which direction the games were going.

Maybe you self-overhyped you, seems to me that you had so high expectation and personal preferences which got not fulfilled.

I consider myself as a fan and I’m not disappointed and enjoying BF2042 for more than 240h now.

See you on the Battlefield.

I know it's been 7 years, but do you remember the launch of BF4? I couldn't even finish a round for about a month after release because the game was so buggy.

@CLEMSONU the game where chasing CoD since BF3 there are so many CQC maps like Metro, Bazar, Locker they even made a CQC addon.

Maybe I don't live in a Battlefield bubble even that I playing BF also for 17years now.

Maybe I’m more open minded for new playstyle and experience in games, who knows?

Defending? Damage control? For me it is more standing for my opinion and my points of view.

Yes, BF2042 has is issues with performance, bugs and QoL of life but for me it is still a good game. And I still enjoying playing it.

The different is when I don’t like a game or when I’m disappointed then I don’t go chasing a hate train or demanding things.

If I don’t like a game, I don’t buy it, if I can’t refund it, I will speak with my wallet the next time.

If I buy a game, it is my decision nobody is forcing me to buy it.
