I think its one of the weakest in the game honestly.
I love the M5A4 at range but had gotten used to the other assault weapons before switching to SMG's and LMG's. Now that I think of it, I had to reimage my PC to Win 10 after trying Win 11 and am just now returning to the assault rifles so that PC reset might be part of it. I don't think my mouse settings are the same as before. But I am definitely getting destroyed by anyone with an M5A4 regardless of my PC reset. I'll stay with the assault weapons for a while longer to get used to them again. They just seem weak and drift a lot compared to a while back.
SFAR is a powerhouse and even outguna SMGs within range.
M5A3 has great recoil but ultimatrly feels too weak in my opinion.
