Just wondering if anyone else has noticed changes to the graphics in this latest update.?I feel as though they have improved the texture quality on all the maps I have played since the update.I also felt there was more atmosphere and improved weather effects etc on some of the maps.I haven't been able to play all the maps yet due to MM limitations but in general they felt a bit better to me, what do you guys think.?We badly need new maps as the current 7 have become stale but I think their quality has been improved in this update.

@RayD_O1 It seems strange when people say the current maps have become stale but in the end, they all seem to gravitate to one or two maps from past BF games. BF2 was Karkand, BF3 was Metro, and BF4 was Operation Locker. I know I played the mess out of Karkand back in the day. Not sure about BF V and 1 as I never played them much. Now I know this can't really be done with MM in 2042 but I guarantee you that some people with set up a server with just one map in the rotation.

There are too few maps and not a single map that is good that you would want to play over and over again. It's pathetic that we do not have single new map 5 months after launch. I understand that the game was released too early and they are catching up and adding things into the game, but 5 months without a new map... come on. That is just embarrassing.

Took months to add VOIP what chance have we of graphics upgrade
Devs left are to do basics cover season pass but nothing major.

I understand what you are saying and I have nothing against single map servers if people want to play a favourite map over and over.
I personally would like to be able to play through the full map rotation as I like the variety that different maps can offer.
Seven maps still seems low at this stage and I would like another 4 to be added in Season One to freshen up BF2042.
Did you notice any changes to the textures / graphics in the update. ?

@RayD_O1 Only played one round and didn't really notice much of an improvement, but I also have barely played the past month+

Performance seemed a bit worse (80+fps to 70+fps so a drop, but nothing huge), but I can't say I noticed any notable visual improvements in textures or clutter etc.

I'll try to keep an eye out as I play, but I feel like between bad RNG limiting how many maps I actually see and the fact that I shelved this game for a while, I don't know if I can remember well enough for an accurate comparison.

@RayD_O1 I saw a post on reddit I think that had a few side by side shots of hourglass where the buildings looked slightly different. I only played one round last night so I wasn't looking very close.

@RayD_O1 Too early to tell, I thought it seemed a little less grainy? Maybe a little smoother.

@RayD_O1 - The update reset my DLSS settings. If you were running DLSS in performance mode, the game might appear visually crisper.
