Disable the 60mm flak, until you can fix it!

Short answer it's not nerfed at all.

Ahh i think i misunderstood you, sorry.
No matter what they should disable it, until they get it fixed, i mean they had done it from launch with dozers shield and later with other stuff, it's just horrible, that something so broken, is allowed to go on for so long.

@tom_lookenThere are so many thing that have been broken for a long time yes, but 60mm flak should be prioritized, since it can ruin the experience for the whole opposing team, instead of just the single or multiple people that use some of the other broken stuff.

Whoa, whoa, whoa!!! If you're getting killed through walls or cover that's still in place that's one thing, but it certainly isn't OP. It usually takes me two-three shots at the feel of someone or three-four AE shots to kill someone in the open. I've NEVER seen a match where 60mm flak dominated the match and "ruined" it for everyone. In fact, MOST people don't even equip it in their vehicle which pisses me off since the 40mm is default and it's pi$$ worthless when you're sitting at the edge of the map. If it was that OP, you'd have everyone putting it in, pulling up 10 feet in their vehicle and then switching to that seat.

Let's not start tooting on the nerf horn without some real studies. So you got killed 3 times in a match by 60mm flak, that's not nerf worthy.

@Echo6EchoJust to clarify, im playing Breakthrough, so i can't speak for Conquest.
Im not saying they should nerf it, im saying they should fix it, it's big blast radius is, well fine, but there is no damage drop of, no matter the distance you are from the blast.
But my main problem is getting killed behind walls, as you can see in both videos, im pretty sure anyone can agree, that is ridiculous.

The thing is though, that the 60mm actually is dominating, not too many people have unlocked it which i probably why people don't equip it, but im not sure.
I agree that open spaces it won't dominate and it's quite fine actually, but more confined spaces for infantry, it definitly will.
If you take Exposure for example, first sector of BT is fine, because Rockets can counter it, but down in the 2nd sector in the facility and tunnel, you can't really counter it, because it's big and broken blast dominates because, you can't really counter, and it can go through walls.
Same as for the datacenter in kaledioscope...

@Flommingsen I can see your point and it is frustrating, BUT, that second clip wasn't through a wall. He was in the lower tunnel and had a shot to the ceiling above where you were standing AND it took three shots to kill you. Now the first one, WTF yeah. I don't buy that people don't have it unlocked. With the exception of a few players, everyone has been playing this long enough to unlock the flak. I doesn't take very long and at this point, if you don't have it, you just have NEVER gotten in a vehicle or haven't played. There are very few times that I get in that someone has it and that's just too many for it to be a "non-unlock" issue.

@Echo6EchoYeah okay the second clip can be argued, but considering the damage at the distance from the roof of the opening it's still to high damage for that tbh.
To again lay weight on people not having it unlocked, TBH i never really play vehicles so i have just unlocked it around when Update 1.2 came.
It is unlocked at 420 kills/assist/vehicle destroyed on the wildcat, so not the hardest to unlock, but for the MAV it's 1050, which takes a lot longer.
But you also have to consider that it is the mess, that is BF2042, a lot of people probably haven't played since launch until S1 came about.
There could be a lot of reasons why people wouldn't have unloacked it yet.
But im still holding on to my point that it needs to get fixed and not directly nerfed 😉
