The game should remove all icons except for enemy players, when aiming down sight. How hard can it be???
But this is just another thing that is a fail in this game, the amount of incompetence is just unbelievable. I agree they are way to big or need a toggle. I can not see to fire or aim and very close to enemy colors for example on E2 hourglass when enemy enters one of the three entry's orange objective covers the orange enemy color.
No to mention annoying as hell.
In BF V it was perfectly handled. Dsabling all Markers when u are aiming ADS.
In 2042 u see NOTHING, pure disko....

To me, this does not belong in this sub-forum, but into Bug Reports.
This is clearly a bug that you can see those markers while ADSing. And at least a missing feature that you cannot configure the transparency of those items when not ADS. - X-Sunslayer-X4 years agoSeasoned Ace@DuaneDibbley how is it a bug if there is not an option in the menue to toggle it? DICE has already stated it is not in the game and may or may not be added soon™

Ididn't mean it is a bug that the option is missing. What I meant is that it is a bug that those markers are not automatically hidden when ADS.
I am not opposed to the idea of adding such an option if someone REALLY wants his sight obstructed by those markers when in an firefight, but that they are visible when you want to shoot people, this cannot be the proper default. - X-Sunslayer-X4 years agoSeasoned Ace@DuaneDibbley it is how DICE wanted it. only three options exist for this
1. they flat out forgot to have it in the game at any point and time and were happy with how it was.
2. they were on such a crunch that someone told them to do it later
there is no inbetween
3. they did not want an option for that in the game at all.... - @afzSnickelfritz I think the only way to do that would be to host a server on Portal then you can disable the HUD and the Objectives are not visible. You can't do it in the regular MM game.
- kregora4 years agoSeasoned Ace@afzSnickelfritz In BF2042 you can't, I would like to see similar options to what BF has to offer, like icon scaling, opacity, and different settings for aim and reticle view.
