Discussion Thread - Breakthrough Changes

Hey Folks -

Earlier today we rolled out some backend changes to Breakthrough and adjusted ticket values so as to create closer matches, and reduce the high ticket count held by the attacking team in the final sectors.

You can read about the changes in full in this post here

I've opened this thread to collect any of your thoughts on the new values - please let us know how you feel that Breakthrough now plays with these changes.

@PartWeIshI can't get into a game of Breakthrough in my region, there are not enough players to start the server, I haven't played a Breakthrough game in 2 weeks, can you please tell me how you will solve this essential issue first.

Are you on console?
And if so do you have crossplay turned on?

@Rambi83 Console (PS5), cross-play is on, I'm in the Middle East.

@iraqi553 That's odd, I would have thought that my timezone (central europe) and the middle east were close enough to have a quite similar experience. I play Breakthrough on a daily basis, PC though but as far as I know that shouldn't matter as long as X-play is on.

@PartWeIsh Why do the Update Notes looks so big as it were a lot of fixes. It's only one fix, which can be adjusted with few clicks. Thanks for it anyways, I hope it will balance the game more, but I am looking forward for the HUGE March update. If it isn't gonna be a freaking MASSIVE one I will uninstall the game I guess. :/
Been fighting myself with it for a long time...

I can't get into a game of Breakthrough, there are not enough players to start the server, since December.

@PartWeIsh It’s been 2 weeks since we managed to get a 128 breakthrough game in Australia - Oceana region. There is enough players but for some reason a game would never start.

We tried to report the issue to no avail.

@Rambi83 Middle East servers are different from the European servers for 2042, I can only play if I join a European friend. I never had this problem with any game before.

Please fix this problem known to you. Since early access I can't get in with loUltimate version.
