Also, the most annoying thing is because of this matchmaking delays we are not able to get proper match rotation. There are days, when I could only play 3 maps repeatedly. A server browser will ensure that players will stick around for the whole map rotation. Also, get chance to switch sides as well. Why we are not just using the same options as they were in the previous games, we don't need to invent the wheel again. Just do a copy paste.

@RayD_O1Exactly, i know that for the new players to the battlefield they want to make the experience easy (in other games). But offcourse we can keep the best of both worlds like it was in Battlefield V. Go to advanced and there you get your server browser of the current games.

That's something I have been asking myself, why re-invent the wheel as you say. ?
In previous BF's we had the option of Quickmatch or choosing the Advanced Options and using the server browser which I always did.
It worked for me and was definitely preferable to all this faffing around in the lobby after every single round, that's assuming you are lucky enough to even get into a match.
And as you rightly say there are many days when you get the same map forced upon you several times, we definitely need to be able to play through the map rotation, especially when there are only 7 maps.
DICE please see sense and replace MM. !

The current backend can spin up a map, assign a lobby to it, and then populate the lobby.
In the past there were a couple of servers with rotations running, and Quickmatch found a server for you and placed you there.
After that you stayed on that server.
Currently everything is randomized, like it should be for a Battle Royal game.- 4 years ago
The problem isn't losing every round as a defender, the problem is getting dicked by a chopper every minute is not fun.
Playing as a defender is just so one dimensional, you can't play for positions or go on flanks, as soon as you do you immediately get punished by a chopper.
Going for the choppers is a complete waste of time, because you are just going to spend the rest of the round dedicating your time to "Annoying" him. If he * up and you somewhow kill him, the chopper is just going to respawn 30 seconds later, making the whole excerise pointless.
The way i see it right now as an attacker is like going to a resturant and you can eat anything on the menu.
As a defender you are stuck eating the same * sandwich every round. Changing the tickets is just changing the time i have to eat the sandwich.
I think all you've accomplished with this change is, making breakthrough worse because now the rounds are shorter and i have to spend more time looking for matches.
You need to make it fun to play defender, you can't just alter the rules to make it more even.
CM edit: removed final line of text that was off-topic and written in all capital letters, there's no need for that.

@PantleonDefending isn,t about stats, defending is about keeping the enemy off the objectives. Of course, being 'positive' is a bonus but it is better to die destroying that Tonk than being positive and lose because the Tonk clears you team from the flag.
If you care too much about stats while defending, you will probably lose.
