@CantGetRighti mean each to their own but numbers speak the truth. Its a BF game, classes is and should be an integral part of Battlefield
@CantGetRightCorrect. It's appealing to the wrong crowd, that's why this game has bombed. The people who have stuck around are either stubborn fans of the series like myself or fans of Apex, Fortnite, CoD etc who want BF to start selling clown skins. We want old Battlefield back.
Sigh. I'm uninstalling this game and going back to BF1.
Thanks @PartWeIsh for bringing us this information. IMO the cat is out of the bag with Specialists, so we're kind of stuck with them. I don't believe the issue is necessarily with classes so much as the 'Specialist abilities" are VERY hard to balance. I mean, suddenly everyone is playing Paik and you can't sit ANYWHERE for two seconds to regen, reload, re-equip without the message of doom I like to call it telling you that you've been spotted and then the inevitable death that follows, meanwhile Dozier's shield is barely big enough to cover him from the front and there's not a whole lot of counter to him if you aren't carrying C5 or incendiary. It's things like that which are killing this game. Classes per se aren't needed, I think balancing the skills are needed along with some weapon tweaks. The game has moved too "SOLO" rather than "TEAM". I mean honestly a couple Paiks running into let's say A1 on CQ64 Manifest can wipe out a couple squads with the proper coordination and that's not good. TEAM play I think is what we're all looking for here.
