In all due respect, some really obvious major issues with specialist losing the ability to take down OP air vehicles with the proposed class system changes is already alarming, yet it will be much harder to predict issues that will cause a loss of players versus the desired increase in player counts...

You are spot on, all to often a change sounds good on paper but when put into action, falls flat or causes unexpected issues.
Testing these changes first would be a sensible idea.
