Does anyone have any understanding of when we get more content for this game? Being one of the idiots who spent their hard earned on the ultimate version of 2042 I feel we have been totally mislead and ripped off.

Come on Dice, I have played every BF title since bc2 and this is the poorest launch to date.
There is currently no content confirmed for Battlefield 2042.
According to data miner Temporyal, season 1 will probably begin in March.

We have to rely on data miners and leakers such as Tom Henderson for information.
I've heard rumors that the reason we're not hearing anything and development/comms are silent on all fronts is because EA is closing DICE or selling it off and they are under hush orders due to the reception of their recent games. I was wondering why so many bugs that have been reported 3 months ago are still in the game and it makes sense now. Why there's no battlepass news... why "season 1" begins FIVE MONTHS (counting Nov) after launch. Otherwise to have such intentional silence all the time... who would intentionally draw so much ire and hate... self sabotage makes no sense.
Quick reminder, that at this stage of release, with BF4 we already had China Rising being released and the next DLC was already hinted and a full roadmap was available for all DLCs. Let that sink in. Aside from that, BF4 had more maps and weapons at launch anyways (although yes it was also buggy but still).

Yeah imho the 7 maps we have currently are totally inadequate.
Especially as we are made to repeat the same map many times in a row, or do not get the chance to play certain maps for days due to MM deciding what we can / can't play.
The few maps we have in BF2042, have gone stale very quickly and it would take 4 new maps (like previous BF DLC's ) to rectify this problem.
Unfortunately I know this is very unlikely any time soon.

Not saying it couldn't be true, but I seriously doubt it.

They need more than that in my eyes. More weapons and more maps. I hope they up it
