@CyberDyme If he was on console the whole account is done for online gaming... Its easier to get up and going from a ban on PC, grey keys, cheat makers giving free game codes if caught ect
Actually not @1Hairy-Gorilla ,
Lets say you play EA BF1 on a PlayStation.
Cheating here on BF1 will then get you reported to EA. Sony SIE is not doing any intake for cheating in games they do not own. So the reporting goes to EA. EA can then decide to ban you off completely. But that only applies then to EA games according to whatever penalty EA put on you.
So you will be perfectly fine to play any other online game you may please on your PlayStation.
Differentiator is what your infraction was all about. If it was on aka harassing other players, with exchanged contents or in live chat etc, then that is infraction of the TOS for Sony PSN. And that is reported to Sony SIE and handled by them. So not actually anything to do with cheating in a game, but more to do with your behavior in Sony's online community/network. That Sony treat, and true, that can give anything from 1 to many more days off the PSN network. And in the extreme cases - a permanent ban. Even for your PlayStation hardware in the most extreme case, so it never again can get online to PSN. And great respect for Sony, as they do take this serious and typically handle the most cases of most ordinary cases in just matter of minutes!
