It did not work out how they expected.
Any player who pre ordered BF2042 deserve to be called stupid if they pre-order the next BF game.
Once bitten, twice shy.
I will not pre order will wait for release and then if ok find cheapest way to purchase the game to give DICE/EA as little money as possible.

they cant even figure out the server browser with a map rotation in it..this crap match making kills the game as well as every other complaint u guys have..and they are all valid! i dont know who is working to put this heaping pile of steaming dung..but they need to be fired and put in jail!

If past form is anything to go by then they will put the next Battlefield game on sale at a reduced price over the Christmas period following launch. This happened with Star Wars Battlefront II due to poor sales following the messy launch with the loot crate fiasco, and then with Battlefield 2042. PS5--I'm a casual and play for fun. I would highly suggest that any console player with the option to install the PS4 version do so and see if your numbers improve. No, the game certainly doesn't look or play as good, but you will get a more accurate assessment of how well you stack up against other players when you all are on equal footing. Crossplaying against PCers puts us at a disadvantage in this already badly executed game.
