Do you think bots should become a staple feature in future BF’s?

BF2042 had a rocky start to say the least.   I personally think if bots had not been in the game at the start what few people were playing the game would have been able to. But this isn’t the only...

@xeliw42651 The ai soldiers should not be in all out warfare modes. They are designed for a PvPvE mode called Hazard Zone, and that is where they belong.
My impression is, that new game play mechanics are only tested against ai, which is, why it always feels like new mechanics/weapons/gadgets aren't tested at all.

It usually not fun to play matches with ai, because they don't play the fine objective.

    @kregoraActually the bots will relentlessly PTFO, regardless how many die. They will bring you ammo and heals, they will revive you. They are still a little too stupid to be competitive however they are programmed to play the objective and are very terminator like in their dedication to that. Try a round of rush and don’t arm or disarm it yourself and you’ll see.

      @ATFGunr My experience is based on Breakthrough, and my observation is, they go for kills, not the objective. Sure they resupply and revive, but they neither attack nor defend objectives. If the few players don't do it, the bots won't either.

        @kregora I should clarify I was talking bots in custom Portal maps at default settings. They seem “smarter” than in Solo on easy settings. I assume that’s the same settings as in AOW? Can’t swear to that part. There’s times they cap so fast I’m annoyed as I’m doing something lol and don’t want them to cap it. Happens in Portal official experiences too when they are bot heavy.
