@Kyp3aDICE You're coming from the wrong angle on this.
The real question is can DICE employ some actual Battlefield players to design game modes?
As someone who has played BFV Breakthrough exclusively for 3+ years and thoroughly enjoyed it, I can tell you that I've touched 2042 Breakthrough maybe 3 times since release.
It is so not fun, unbalanced, boring and chaotic (in a bad way) that I won't even bother writing any specific arguments against it because it needs a complete scrap from the game.
You already listed so many things that are wrong with this mode that it's easier to remake it from scratch than try to target one issue at a time which won't lead anywhere.
Most of these game modes they offer are made by clueless "developers" who've never played a match of anything relating to Battlefield.
If you told me these people have never played a first person shooter game in their entire lives, I would believe you.
This is clearly evident from constant balancing issues, "specialists", map design, spawn points, game modes, nonsensical weapons.
Every single aspect of this game is completely inferior to games that came half a decade, a decade, two decades before it that I'm still shocked how this is possible in this day and age when developers have all these tools at their disposal from the accumulated experience of previous BF titles.
None of the things you listed here will get fixed until DICE can find passionate devs who actually play the game to work on these things.
You're basically talking to a wall here.

I would be more than happy to provide input into game design, free of charge. Zoom calls or Teams meetings are not hard to set up. If they truly wanted our input that way, they would ask for it.
In my opinion, one of the bigger issues is they listen to streamers and content creators (they actually brought some to DICE), but those players do not play the game modes as they are intended to be played. Most just go for KD or a viral video clip. Very few, if any PTFO, ever.
