@2tq1uwuofjl7be careful about questioning any employee, that will get you warned/banned really quickly.
To answer your question, in my opinion, the devs never come on these boards as it is all negative feedback about their work.
The CMs do visit here more frequently but are very selective in what they respond to. If you say they are doing an awesome job and the game is amazing, they will respond and thank you. If you are critical, they get offended very easily. They also ignore the elephants in the room per se. They know there are massive threads about the game that they blatantly ignore.
BLUF: they do not like any criticism, even when constructive and well thought out.
This thread and post will probably get deleted.
Which is sad because with out criticism you never get better
Based on how busted air has been since launch and how long problems go unaddressed or unacknowledged, honestly I wonder if most of the team actually plays the game outside of a handful of folks on BF Fridays. Because it sure doesn't feel like the team is playing this game given all the problems that are, again, completely unacknowledged.

Why does dice go so silent with the community?
- 4 years ago@GrizzGolf Because the leads determined the best strategy is to simply not communicate until just before an update is dropped, and consequently seems to discourage engagement in general and any sharing of information that hasn't gone through multiple layers of approvals.
It's the mushroom strategy, keep the community in the dark and feed them BS.

They read, but only reply when convenient. When not convenient, and we make a lot of noise so they feel some pressure, we got a political type of canned answer "we hear you, and we brought this issue to the team" or "it was mentioned and the issue is under review". Example: Server Browser.
I don't think it is disrespectful to ask a dev if he plays the game. It is only by playing that they will know:
The frustration of spawning dead in a falling helicopter and destroying a helicopter for your team.
How you miss your friends and how a server browser is important
How it feels to PTFO and not have a recognition in the scoreboard.
How frustrating is (was) the Bolte.
How frustrating it is (was) to be killed by helicopters all the time (remember 2 at a time at 1 minute respawn???)
How frustrating it is to respawn after vehicles, never get flags, get slammed by jets.
How the guns, aim, controls don't feel right.
Balance in general.
Find glitches...
I could go on forever.
I have dozens of glitches saved on my HD that I don't share because it is a waste of time. I know this because the three PRIVATE bugs/videos I shared in the BUG REPORT area had NO VIEWS views for OVER A WEEK (the 1 view is me double checking it). They were all posted 3 months ago. I then shared one of them in the general forums out of frustration to maybe get a chance of showing the glitch to the world, and I got 5 (4 + myself) views. This screenshot I took today.
In one instance, the video at the top had an explanation showing exactly how to duplicate the glitch, but THE GLITCH IS STILL THERE. I called it a loadout duplication. If devs are here actually reading, it would have 1 view at least. If you want, you can see the thread for yourself here to see if I am telling the truth.
We play for them and help them, as free testers, or actually ones who paid money for it, and they if ignore it.
So I know for a fact that even bug reports are ignored. The general discussion must ignored too.
So, no, they don't read. They may read. This is different. This is lottery.
This is a fact. I just showed you the numbers.
