Does turning crossplay off even work?

@TheThurston13 I quite often have to re-enable it to get a match but I'm not so certain that it's bugged. Mostly as there's lots of factors in play too: there'll be a limited player pool as you'd only play with others who have crossplay off, the apparent lack of players overall, then there's things like region and matchmaking, time of day and that there's still a lot of people who aren't on the new Xbox Series consoles yet. If you just want to play with other console users then you might want to think about playing the Xbox One version.

Also, the game still needs a certain number of players to be queuing before a match will start with bots.
