Hey folks, Good news!Double XP will be active across all Battlefield 2042 modes from now (10th) until Monday, 14th November at 10:00 UTC. You can expect to see more Double XP events in Season 3 and beyond, but right now is the right time to jump into the game and catch up on any missed progression or ranks that you'd like to work towards! -- How do I know Double XP is active? Site Notice - We've included a brand new icon for our Site Notice area, which will also include text that indicates whenever a Double XP Event is active in the game. Below Modes - During a Double XP event, you will always notice a new tag below all of the modes that Double XP is active within.

Not wanting to appear *, but I ended season 1 feeling that at best, I didn't understand the points system, and at worst cheated out of a season badge. So I have recorded every point I have earned this season. Here's part of the spreadsheet from week 8 (although I have the whole season recorded). (....I know! How sad am I?)
If you can make sense of it you are better than I am, by my records I am just 49 points from the T1 badge but BF2042 thinks I'm still on T3.

@lzilchetlYou will be at least 40 short if you had Gold Edition, potentially more with Ultimate.
With the double XP it is easily one round per token. So it is pretty easy to gauge how many rounds you will need to finish. The weeklies give 59. So preferably, you will want to be close to 1090 by the end of this week.

Some of the ribbon totals are not yellow but are double. What makes the values under the ribbons turn yellow?

@xXGugusseXx except that it still doesn't track points. Went from 1181 to 1192 after completing all of the 59 points worth of weekly missions (in 2 games).

@T0TALfps any news on an actual fix for the season badge not counting properly? There's not really any motivation to do 2x Xp if its not even going to count.

@Adamonic Played with the 2XP tonight and was earning pretty well two points a game. But, look at week 8 (for example) in the spreadsheet. I started the week with 694 badge points, I know I earned 79 points over the week, but started week 9 with 703 points. I know it takes a while sometimes for the badge points to catch-up, but I'm pretty certain that over the season I have lost around 100 points. So I don't trust that I'll get all the points I earn this week. and I'll be a bit p****d if i miss out on T1 for a second season. Don't get me wrong, I'll not lose sleep over it, but spoils the season grind a bit doesn't it.

@lzilchetlOh I agree, I did it in Season 1 and lost at least 100 tokens over the course of the season. However, I didn't account for the 40 for Gold, so I was technically off by about 60.
You definitely want to have room to play with and don't want to come down to the wire with it not hitting 1150. You are definitely within range with the double XP.

@d0__op I thought if I kept a record I'd be able to work out what's not counting but it's pretty random. Its got better over the last couple of weeks but, if I was suspicious I'd think that the double XP and the 20 points bonus mission are to reduce the number of players who end the season fed up because they didn't get the badge they earned. I don't think they are on top of this at all.
