DRAUGR is weak.

To be totally honest I don't even know how the Draugr can be considered weak, maybe from the pilot perspective because can be easily destroyed? I don't know.
From the infantry point of view it's too much op, especially the Kerosene bomb is actually out of control and can kill people outside it's radius even if you are not even near to the flame, you simply die from.....heat wave? it's totally senseless and need a nerf urgently!

@MADMAC50KI think that one's a gamemode issue. People are way more spread out on Conquest, meanwhile having most of either team in one spot feels like the average Breakthrough match. Remove Draugrs from Breakthrough? They're already unavailable on some 64p conquest maps. On that note, maybe remove TORs from Breakthrough too. And BoLTEs in general, or rework those.
There's already precedent now for this by the way, that 4v4 gamemode a while ago had claymores disabled. And good, disable them.

- @UP_Hawxxeye That clip Madmac posted looks like Breakthrough, see the shield-like B point icon? Those are for Breakthrough and Rush. Rush usually has only an MAV and some jeeps, and half as many players. That being said, I haven't touched Breakthrough in a while...

I am very displeased with how Breakthrough in 2042 was reduced to a variant of rush because DICE decided it was easier to remove aircraft than to balance them directly or by providing enough AA hardware to the defenders. @Lady_One It's Rush on Caspian Border I believe. That's what it looks like to me from squinting at the video on my phone anyway.
Edit: I'm prepared to be wrong about the above. It'd be nice to find out definitively, though.
Edit 2: Doesn't look like Caspian border is available as a Breakthrough map in Portal but it does come up for Rush. I'm still not 100% but I'm still leaning towards it being Rush in the video.

- @ElliotLH I think Hawxxeye might've been right in suspecting a community gamemode, maybe one of those Friday Night Battlefield modes or whatnot, maybe some sort of changed up Rush? There's no way regular Rush has a Draugr in it, it doesn't let you spawn into vehicles and only spawns in some default loadout ground vehicles for you depending on the map.

Not tested it myself as I've not got home yet, but I quickly built an experience on Portal to try replicating what's in the video (Rush, max players, 2042 vehicles, and PVP AI for something to shoot at). Assuming I've done it right, it should allow the Draugr on Rush - it's abs6du if you fancied seeing what it does.Hmm...apparently I have set something up incorrectly as it's not appearing despite being set.
Will try fiddling more if I'm allowed on the Xbox. I might also just be misunderstanding what it means by "progression required" - I assumed it mean players would need to have it unlocked but it could mean match progression (I literally only had 30 seconds to try it so just checked the initial spawn menu).

So hard to get an AA lock as infantry too now. By the time it's out of stealth and the lock on sequence starts - it's out of range before it locks.....
- @MADMAC50K I still wouldn't blame the Draugr inherently for that. Before the Draugr, people could jet ram into the enemy spawn and get just as many infantry kills... Because jets spawn and fly a bit sooner than infantry. Give infantry a more forward and spread out spawn during round start. Kills 2 birds with 1 stone, I don't like running when all the vehicles are full, so much so nowadays I tend to wait 30-60 or so seconds doing nothing during round start if I couldn't hop in a vehicle.

My fav is hourglass-if i spawn in the draugr i usually fly low and sit back at spawn give it a min or so then head into the city and napalm E and F down that straight rinse and repeat.
Kaleidoscope is another good map-Roof top E and A or any roof top to take out campers, and just weave in and out of buildings to avoid missile lock.
But im a useless pilot so dont last long anyhow when being chased by a good pilot.
The hit reg on the draugr is terrible though-i may feel 1/2 hits then just go red and die

Me and another player from the platoon, used a Pondhawk and stingers to really torment the enemy Draugrs.
Also it does not matter if it is out of range after the first shot. This is a team game and someone else in the team should had been ready to exploit the opening you created to finish the job. If not then you have pushed it away from where it wanted to be.
The draugr in its current stage definitely put more value on the wildcat AA missiles than they used to have
