I have been trying to play Battlefield 2042 on PC with my PS5's Dualsense controller. It seems to not work as the game only recognizes the controller as an Xbox controller. My Dualsense worked for the beta and all of my other games. Is this a Battlefield specific application issue?
I'm having the exact same issue. My PS5 controller worked for the beta but not anymore. I've even switched over to an XBOX controller and I still can't get that to work in game.
Same. Launching game from Origin (tryed to add BF2042 in Steam, but no success), XBOX promts and L2 works as circle ( B ) and R2 as cross ( A ).
There is no problem in It Takes Two, everything is ok there.
My friend don't have any issues with using Dualsense on PC (Origin game launcher).
Its 2024 and this is still the same lmao. Even worse, you can't even play the game with a DS controller as it bugs out on Steam (without steam input).
Now I remember why this game flopped. Braindead dev team.
I'm going to have to lock this thread as it's from 2021. If anyone wants to start a new one about this problem, feel free to do so.
