I know a lot of people, especially people working at EA, are annoyed by the guy, but a lot of his reach would go away if EA/DICE actually tried to show interest in this game. Months of silence and no bug fixes punctuated by occasional promises to communicate better in the future leave a pretty big void for people who bought the game and are wondering what went wrong, what is going on now, and what the future actually holds for the game. If they don't want Tom to fill that void, they could easily do something about it.
There is a what 200k signature petition for a class action law suit. With pending litigation the issue is not EA but the fact they can not make certain comments to any one at this point in time.
This has me questioning the validity of every single word in that article. Additionally given the volatile state just what can be said that would just fan the fire?
They have addressed the direction of Season One and what’s to be expected in the next update and if Tom “horsefeathers” Henderson wants to give sweet whispers in the ears and makes you all feel good then go for it.
Just don’t take it for reality.

I guess that would mark the first time a company has actually done anything in response to a change.org petition. There is no pending litigation, the organizer of that dumb petition has made some vague, shifting statements about seeking a law firm to take it on (I find it doubtful any would). And, it isn't like they were providing lots of updates before the petition started a few weeks ago, so I doubt it has anything to do with that.

The threat is there regardless and why would EA provide any evidence?
I digress as the point is just because someone repeats the same complaints day in and day out with nothing but silence in return speaks volumes. I got the hint 😉
My self look forward to the next update and Season One!

anyone who thinks people would win in court against EA are dreaming and delusional. the only possible thing that could stick is the season pass thing if they don't deliver

@Psubond I mean, you have to admit it would be kind of funny watching a court case where someone got up on a stand and whined about how specialists are dumb and their end-of-game voice lines are cringey?
