@CantGetRight "premium" vs. "live-service" is a largely inconsequential difference. "Premium" was functionally live-service, delivering new content regularly for players the same way BF2042's seasons are supposed to. The only difference was that they monetized playable content previously, which resulted in a fragmented playerbase, vs. aiming to monetize cosmetics and other things while delivering content for free now. Which is a successful and very profitable model used in a ton of games.
The only difference is that this is a very different DICE than the DICE that launched BF3/4. It has nothing to do with "live-service" in the slightest, otherwise every other live-service game would be facing the same problems. And they aren't.
