@Straatford87 Honest talk...how long does it take to figure out how to communicate externally? We're almost two full months into the year and we have a single blog post and a single thread for feedback on a minor tweak to breakthrough.
Where's the early communication about what's in the March update to start gathering feedback in case there are adjustments that can be made to improve it before it's submitted to Sony/Microsoft for certification?
Where are the roadmaps, or at least early versions? Where are the forums/threads for focused feedback on specific or general areas of the game? Where is the communication about what ideas the team is thinking about now to see if the community is on board with it or instantly recoils in horror?
I mean, it took a month for an underwhelming blog post that said a whole lot of nothing, and we're almost a month after that and we still have near total radio silence.
Give us a reason to root for y'all, because as-is we honestly don't know what the team is doing. For all we know given what information is public, the team could be spending the past few months day-drinking and playing other games in the office. Are they actually doing that? Probably not. But the point being: Literally nothing public facing that DICE has said or done in the past month indicates otherwise.
I hope this isn't "toxicity", this is just blunt feedback about how supremely disappointed and frustrated at least one member of your community is. I'm not even going to go into how this poor communication is a longterm problem that DICE as a studio apparently still hasn't figured out in over a decade.
