This is at least the 6th goodbye tweet in the last few weeks from employees at DICE Sweden. They are apparently cleaning house. This makes sense with all the delays and lack of communication. Hopefully something good comes of it.

Its not so much EA/DICE that is cleaning house, as its good young folks with integrity that leaves in despair. (you can check their rank and file within DICE)
Who would want to be a creative quality conscious developer to work under leadership that just overrules any sensible input from their staff and who obviously have no morale scruples by pushing out a terribly poor product that is far away from launch ready and deceiving the fanbase to the contrary in repeated Q&A sessions?
Who would be proud to have BF2042 on their CV?
Always wondered how Florian - DRUNKKZ3 the "Lead Game Designer @EA/DICE*" has kept his job.
Surely this game should see him gone?

This is the fate of the jobs in the entertainment industry.
As soon as your product becomes mainstream, the fat cat(s) who only care about stock market value (and feel at home at any business because they only deal with money) migrate in and all goes south.
And as if the money hounds are not enough, there are also those who will infiltrate and attempt to hijack the product as a platform for promoting their ideologies. (This is not a significant issue in 2042 though)
