EBLC-RAM is all the post armored move Bolt-E should had been.

Question

We all know how the Bolt-E was moved from the light vehicles to the armored category.

But it is really salt on the wounds to see the new vehicle, the EBLC being a vehicle that is a straight upgrade from the Bolt-E now competing with it for the same armored slots.

Things the EBLC-RAM has over the Bolt-E:

Cannon Turret controlled by the driver seat

More seats

BULLETPROOF windows (seriously why is the Bolte-E not bulletproof now?)

A much larger selection of weapons for each seat, including a dedicated seat with lock on missiles for air and ground.

Flak cannon pod

Does not have to pick between a defensive and an offensive gadget.

Better turning speed/acceleration (?)

Can take 1 more rocket to destroy.

Things the Bolte-E has

A couple of exclusive offensive gadgets that take the repair slot and drop AT mines or cluster grenades behind it

How I mean HOW are those two vehicles in the same category? Why cant the Bolte-E at least get glass that does not let bullets through like the EBLC?

Why would anyone ever take a BOLTE again?

PS: It is the same with the new specialist being an upgrade of Boris instead of Boris being overhauled..

You forgot to mention the fact that the Bolte gets a sideways glancing touch from a bullet and it's travel speed is slowed to about as fast as a soldier crawls in prone for 10 seconds and turns like a pregnant yak at speed, Which is slow compared to the RAM....oh yeah, the drivers' "Missle pods" are worthless...

Bolte was part of the initial design approach of a vehicle heavy battlefield game where every vehicle gets heavy weapons.

It failed and the infantry over vehicle argument won with the community with Boltes and Nightbirds moved out of the transport category.

So the bolte is in a weird place in the game now, and wasn't designed to be in that place.

Best thing would've been to just remove it from the game.

The new light tank fits into the armour category just fine.

Crawfords gun emplacement is nothing like Boris's sentry gun and it will be interesting to see how much he will be picked outside of breakthrough.

@Tank2042Man Both the EBLC and the crawford turret match the suggestions of how several people were saying that the Bolt-E and the Boris turret should be redesigned into so that they are not useless after the nerf
