EL ALAMEIN : Seriously? Giant desert sandbox?
Who in the world came up with this map??? It's one giant sandbox. WHY?? This looks like a test map. Why is it coming up more than any other map, all of a sudden??

I'm going to make the assumption that you never played Battlefield 1942.
With that said, could they have picked a better map to port to 2042? Maybe, but nevertheless, that's faithful to the original.
@AnobixFaithful? So what. It’s like a default environment you drop in when you turn on Unreal Engine. Unless you’re in a vehicle you spend 90% of the match running between objectives. Yea. Seriously lazy work. Add more vehicles or take it out of rotation.

I never said it was well implemented with the game rules. Just that the map itself is faithful to the original.
I completely agree it needs more vehicles.
El Alamein was definitely a really fun map in BF1942 because of all the vehicles, wasn't it?
All the crazy jeep jockeys and those tanks swarming out of the main base along with the Spitfires and B-17 taking off from the airfield at the start of the match was such an awesome experience!
