@xMarlboro What’s wrong with switching to engineer when your team gets dominated by a vehicle? That class has all the tools at its disposal to deal with it.

@UP_Hawxxeye Funny in Canada we use the word cluster followed by another word that’s starts with a particular consonant that may be the sixth letter of the alphabet. It’s more crass but equally more effective as a descriptive word 😉

@xMarlboroIs is the opposing team that allows the RAM to own everyone.If one team refuses to play the roles that are needed it is on them.The RAM is quite fragile and will definitely lose to sustained pressure by an overwhelming amount of AT weapons after it was burned its APS.Btw, since you mentioned BF1... It was BF1 which started the mistake of providing Assault with enough explosives to take out a vehicle. The Assault was an traditionally an anti infantry class.Try to see this from the PoV of someone in a vehicle who has to expect 100% lethal AT firepower from almost every enemy infantry on their way. If feels much more normal to make the engineers Anti vehicle powerhouses than having Mac-Klown and SquirelGirl cheesing tanks on their own.In all seriousness, if there are enough Lis players on the same team, almost everything including aircraft is in serious trouble. People just chose not to take the rational reaction to a strong enemy vehicle user.

@RanzigeRidder2Too many people probably do not want to sacrifice the Meta specialist perks (hookshot, Airbust, wings + Free grenades, Wallhack vision and spotting protection) to play Engineer.

@UP_Hawxxeye A fully loaded RAM with all seats occupied with a coordinated squad is hard to take down, but against an equally organized squad of engineers it does not stand a chance.So it al depends on choices made. Rock-scissors-paper

Personally I think the main issue is the trophy system and how ram operators (and other vehicles) set them up and cheese from behind them. Say you actually get a team where some of the players see the vehicle is causing problems and switch to engineer, most of them will not even realize that the trophy system is blocking them, and will just assume its the vehicle's built in interceptor ability and keep trying in vain. I have encountered this multiple times with squad mates who had no idea the vehicles had stand alone trophy systems next to them that needed to be taken out first.
I think limiting the trophy system to being effective only against grenades and grenade launchers, would be the reasonable course of action. Even if this particular issue wasn't presenting itself, its kind of ridiculous how much ordinance they can take out.
