Not sure how to interpret your last post. Do you in the USA and even in the more expensive LA region consider that a high salary?
It is actually a quite important role and demanding job that takes a lot of experience and competencies to do it well. But that is of course all depending upon as well on how the rest of EA/DICE studios looks at this and what empowerment this role is getting from upper mgt.
In Europe you would not get much firepower onboard with such a lowish salary offer for such role...
I for one, would personally like to see it getting a much much higher level of priority for EA to get the EA-game communities up to a higher level of socializing and meaningful enriching engagement with their customers/gamers!
I wonder if the job comes with hazard pay.
Too much human trash on social media. Having to wade through all of the low effort hate to generate a usable narrative sounds awful.
Too tempting to just ignore all of the jerks.
It's like the guys at stadiums that sort the trash from the recycling after games. Terrible.
I consider a job that pays over $50 a hour high pay. I could definitely put up with a lot of keyboard warriors on social media and remain professional for that kind of money.
