Absolutely LOVE this new tank - Playing 10 rounds of Superiority I already have like 700 kills/assists lol. It's pretty balanced when the driver isn't camping the side of the map but yeah, it could use a few tweaks
@TTZ_Dipsy The solution to the railgun tank is another railgun tank, as which one spots first and shots first gets the kill. I think Dice needs to leave it be for the moment as it takes a long time to recharge rounds and takes forever to get out of the "low rider" mode and flee an attack. Also a good stealth heli pilot can take it down before one can activate the APS.
I too played Official All Out Superiority and got to T3 (720 kills) on the railgun tank in a single night and I don't normally play tanks. Easy to get 40-50 kills round when there are only 3 other humans on the other side late at night, and every air transport is full of 4-6 A.I. bots that love to hover for easy tank shots. The only A.I. that can actually kill are the WildCat and LIttle Bird A.I. pilots, which is interesting as both these vehicles are completely OP when a really good human pilot operates them...
When the Superiority game modes (All Out and Air) have 100% humans, those 40-50 kill games turn into 10-20 kill games at best.

Some people really look at stats and forget the fact how many hours of practice someone used to get there. I just don't like the fact, how easy tank usage is? It's just not okay when first timer can clear air while sitting in base, sitting in base and staring spawn points. And no, it's not easy to destroy, I've already mentioned, Irish with repair tool + tank repair is untouchable.
So, biggest problem is awareness. When that tank spawns, I should know instantly. Imo

why? by that logic infantry should get a warning every time a vehicle spawns
@Psubondtbh I wouldn't mind that. But again, stop comparing vehicles with infantry. One has way longer respawn timer.
And how often does infantry die to a infantry from one main base all across the map to another with one shot? (Even meanwhile you are moving).
The trick is to plant yourself on a hill so you can pretty much fire directly up for helis and have enough cover to zoom back if hit by another tanker (I believe its 3 hits max to kill a tank at any range so gotta be quick).
Haha yup the bots are totally turkey brained, I love it. You can still reach high numbers with little to no deaths in human lobbies as long as the other team doesn't have an ace - honestly though those are some of the funnest matches you can find; always a fan of having a lobby nemesis.
I started running repair instead of APS and using the infrared smoke - Popping a repair negates most of what the rocket barrage can do and they'll need to fly away
I just camp their spawn and/or tilt them with this method until they spawn the normal tank.
@cope_moreglad you didn't encounter any resistance/minimal. Now there is usually wildcat close by and like I mentioned, some people play smart and place Irish aps around the tank. Which simply makes tank untouchable. Problem is, camping at spawn and waiting for the tank makes hell to enemy pilots cause when one comes in, you see the picture.

This! People are so used to Borg Regeneration, they dont run the Repair Kit.
Eliminate Borg Regeneration from the game
