End Screen "Round Actions" is capped at 65,535 pts. Is it a Developer Error?

While doing a long round of playtime, and the end I found interesting that the maximum XP value for the "Round Actions" is 65,535 pts (check attachments for PoC), otherwise known in Software and Game Development as the Unsigned Integer16 Max Value. 

Therefore, this limit could be in place by developer error...

Is it intended to be capped to that specific value or did I just found a flaw?

I'm raising this question, because it is the second time that I see that specific value at the End Screen, and as a SDE I immediately recognize it.
