During the holidays, I leave it on matchmaking and I fell asleep on the couch, when I wake up, still matchmaking lol.
I'm a fan of Battlefield series since Battlefield 1942 and I bought the Ultimate Edition, darn it lol.
There are more of these threads appearing daily. As the player base has dwindled the MM problems have become more acute.
In my opinion MM is not viable and needs replacing to allow all players access to the game they paid for.
@RayD_O1 I understand it could be the low player count issue and I don't really mind playing with all the bots and everyone can join after when they click on search. Just let me get into the game lol

- @RayD_O1 Played one match took me about 10-15 minutes to get into match. Nothing changed there. Should take a few minutes at most I believe. Once in match it was 9vs9 by the tikme
It was over last I checked it was about 15-18. I thought one reason was to fill servers when they removed 128? And player count I know according to steam is low. Don’t think it’s enough to bring players back. Season one better be huge or they should shut it down.- @Sc0tch_Whiskey
Sounds like no improvement at all, as you say Season 1 is going to need to be something special.
This would be the ideal solution. Just put people in a match with bots and just keep adding people as they search for a game.
I’m pretty sure that’s how they described it before launch so people can just get into games instead of waiting for servers to fill. Yet here I am in The UK sitting in screens saying 2/64 until the game kicks me back to the menu.
- @SMiT2710 I forgot where it was I saw but they did say game would start with bots until more players join but then I read that they said there has to be certain amount of actual players to start the match. They are lost as anyone. They get caught in their lies to much.
