The purpose of this thread is to try to coordinate all our efforts into one main thread and to finally get our message through to DICE that MM is just not working.
If you want change and would like to see MM replaced then be sure to make your voice heard by posting your support.
DICE can you please help all players who are currently unable to join games due to Matchmaking problems.
You need to prioritise this so players can get to play the game they paid for. !!
On this forum there are many threads where players are asking for a proper Server Browser / Persistent Server system to replace MM which is simply not up to the job for reasons spelt out on these threads :

MM is just an unnecessary frustration which is causing players to spend hours searching for a game or are unable to play at all.!!
Even players who are lucky enough to get to play are constantly complaining about having to play the same map over and over or don't get to play certain maps for days.
It is evident that BF2042 can not continue with an MM system which is totally inadequate and is destroying players enjoyment of the game.
Anyone having these MM issues should add your weight to this thread daily and keep it at the top of the list.
DICE you really need to take urgent action to resolve this major issue which is driving players away from BF2042.
I would suggest continued conversation around all the threads that discuss matchmaking and server browsers.
Keep these discussion pinned to the top and force them to respond.

I definitely intend to keep pushing this daily until DICE do something about it, so ALL players can play the game they paid for.

I'm afraid, keeping those threads alive by re-posting once a day will only achieve one thing: they will not even read them anymore. I don't think we will get a response to this specific topic here.
And, @RayD_O1, as you are well aware, I am 100% with you on that one and I want this to be fixed. I even made a concrete suggestion how this can be fixed with more or less negligible effort (or made 100x better when compared to the current state at least), but I also thing this suggestion was burried too deep.

I think this can be done NOW and I definitely want a response to this concrete proposal by EA/Dice. Either they say they will implement that now, or that they will not do it and would have to tell us why they don't do it. I am fine with both responses (if it's the second option, then I will uninstall and leave the forums, because then, all hope is lost).
OK, there is a 3rd option and that would be that they have a better solution in place that they intend to roll out with the patch next week, I am fine with that as well of course.
But the only way in my book to get noticed is by posting this in a new thread, as concrete and precise as possible, address the CM directly and hope for a response. They will then definitely read it. No response would also mean that they do not care. Maybe you post something, or I might start a thread on Monday.PS: to address the point that 'all players should be able to play'. If they allow for those games to be found via the existing server browser, then yes, all players CAN join. But I must say that I personally hate having those high ping players in my match that are impossible to hit while lagging around in the map or getting the 'peakers advantage'. It is just unfair to us players that play with 10ms ping to get killed by 150ms ping players because of this. Dice would have to provide servers in all region so that those players can play on servers closer to them. But I also don't want to muddle the water by mixing those unrelated topics. Yes, all players should be able to play, and if this solves it as a side effect, the better. But even if it does not, it still improves the experience for everyone and costs Dice one day of work for one or two engineers. AT MOST. Let them do that first NOW or tell us why exactly they do not care.

I would point out that the CM's have already been tagged on many of the posts on these threads and have failed to answer.
I have also noticed recently that CM's have been asked direct questions in many threads and have responded with non committal vague answers so I am not sure they will be prepared to answer this particular question directly either with a meaningful answer.
I intend to keep the posts alive as they contain real players experiences / complaints / detailed feedback etc, which they may choose to read or not ,but the facts are still there and speak for themselves.
On the subject of pings and out of region players, imho it's up to DICE to provide a means for ALL players who have purchased the game to have access to the game. If that involves them having to add servers in certain areas then so be it.I just don't want DICE to forget about the players struggling daily to even join a match.!!
I genuinely hope they do give us an answer SOON, goodness knows we have been asking for one for long enough. But ultimately I want them to provide us with a proper Server Browser / Persistent Servers just like we had in previous BF's. How they achieve that is up to DICE to sort out, that is their job, and they have always done it in the past, so it shouldn't exactly be rocket science.!!

This is one of the other threads I mentioned to you in my earlier post which you may not have had a chance to read previously.
I am not trying to swamp you with these questions but I just want to ensure you have visibility of all the main threads currently asking for help on this subject.
As I said before it would be nice to know our feedback is being monitored and considered for action, your feedback is appreciated, thanks again.

DICE should implement the above @DuaneDibbley proposal asap as it is something they should be able to do relatively easily.

They should also make sure they take whatever steps are necessary to ensure that all you guys who currently are unable to join matches get sorted.
Then further down the line implement the full blown Server Browser / Persistent servers we were used to in previous battlefields.
That should hopefully keep everyone happy, I know I definitely would be. 😃

Hoping to hear an answer soon on the above proposal.
Probably not fair of me to complain as I can at least play one round. However, why do I leave a full servers of real players to then get thrown into another server {on the same map} with 20+ bots?
MM should be for team balance only.

You have every right to complain, we should not even be having this conversation about a BF game, how did we ever end up with such a shell of a game.!DICE all player's need to have access to matches and MM is not capable of delivering this.
Please add a server browser/ persistent servers to resolve this issue.
