The purpose of this thread is to try to coordinate all our efforts into one main thread and to finally get our message through to DICE that MM is just not working.
If you want change and would like to see MM replaced then be sure to make your voice heard by posting your support.
DICE can you please help all players who are currently unable to join games due to Matchmaking problems.
You need to prioritise this so players can get to play the game they paid for. !!
On this forum there are many threads where players are asking for a proper Server Browser / Persistent Server system to replace MM which is simply not up to the job for reasons spelt out on these threads :

MM is just an unnecessary frustration which is causing players to spend hours searching for a game or are unable to play at all.!!
Even players who are lucky enough to get to play are constantly complaining about having to play the same map over and over or don't get to play certain maps for days.
It is evident that BF2042 can not continue with an MM system which is totally inadequate and is destroying players enjoyment of the game.
Anyone having these MM issues should add your weight to this thread daily and keep it at the top of the list.
DICE you really need to take urgent action to resolve this major issue which is driving players away from BF2042.
@RayD_O1 mandatory matchmaking to the exclusion of a server browser goes against everything Battlefield has represented for the past 20 years. Battlefield has always been about playing with your friends, playing as a team, and giving the player choice so removing the ability to have all of one's friends join the same server when not in the same squad, choose the server you wish to play in, the maps that you wish to play on, or even restricting game modes by making them limited time only is mind blowing. I honestly never thought I'd see Battlefield in this state.

At this point I don't have much confidence that 2042 will become the game the community has been screaming for since BF1 launched - especially with the timelines for just the recently announced changes. Nor do I think the next title will be any different than BFV/2042 just another round of the community mad that it's not a Battlefield game that we want because we haven't been listened to for 6 years and the studio saying "we hear you" and still not giving us a traditional Battlefield title with permanent rental servers and so on.
I'm seriously thinking of pulling out of Battlefield entirely, the only thing keeping me is that I really enjoy the community aspect since we do have a pretty awesome community. Most of the friends that I founded FNB with except for EA_At1c have left the franchise only reminiscing about the times we had playing the older fun Battlefield games.

I totally understand where you are coming from and I think you speak for many of us who are feeling the very same way.
Sad times for BF.
- @ragnarok013 Battlefield, made by people who don't understand Battlefield, resulting in the latest release on the most powerful hardware in an era where social interaction is king...with the least social interaction possible of any BF title.
And for some reason DICE thinks the community should still have any confidence that their core team understand the BF franchise and what has kept fans coming back to it for decades.Good news I got a warning for posting here about the lack of comunication. That could means that they know that we cant play some modes since weeks later of launch. I hope
