@RayD_O1 I hate to say it, but it's getting more and more difficult to be a Battlefield fan. At this point I don't have much confidence that 2042 will become the game the community has been screaming for since BF1 launched - especially with the timelines for just the recently announced changes. Nor do I think the next title will be any different than BFV/2042 just another round of the community mad that it's not a Battlefield game that we want because we haven't been listened to for 6 years and the studio saying "we hear you" and still not giving us a traditional Battlefield title with permanent rental servers and so on.
I'm seriously thinking of pulling out of Battlefield entirely, the only thing keeping me is that I really enjoy the community aspect since we do have a pretty awesome community. Most of the friends that I founded FNB with except for EA_At1c have left the franchise only reminiscing about the times we had playing the older fun Battlefield games.

I`m on the same page. BF2042 is no longer on my rader and I have a hard time seeing any future BF game being any different.
The direction Dice has chosen does not interest me.

lol, DICE doesn't freakin care. The teams are "aware" of the feedback and will do something, maybe, eventually. There's no freakin urgency from DICE, it absolutely feels like they've abandoned BF2042 and have left the poor interns in charge of the game while the "real devs" move onto the next installment.

a server browser and persistent servers with a rotation would be nice so we don't get stuck playing half a match 4x on the same map.
Dice can you please step up and sort this it has been allowed to continue for too long.
Players need to be able to play the game they paid for.

Yeah it definitely feels abandoned, it's a ghost town and still no response as to when / if they plan to do anything about it.
DICE can you please give the community an update as to whether you are planning to replace MM.
BF2042 cannot survive with the current MM system and it's driving more and more players away every day that passes.
