Thanks Chris my frustration that people lile yourself and TTZ_Dipsy Uberlebender-lk are more helpful than the mods, every answer seems to be can't comment on this can't comment on that. EA would do well to accept that they made a huge error with 2042 and many other games. As for Toxic yes I agree i am forever calling players cheats who are not but a lot of that is because of the killed round corners piece . However there are deffo some that are and very little is done about it.
- To be fair to the mods, what would they be expected to do...? This is not to say your frustration is not warranted — most of us, if not all, have rage-quit a match at some point due to bad connection, team imbalance or nasty gameplay — but to put things in proportion, a mod is at the margins on these issues... it's not like they could fix these problems but refuse to.Blame instead originally poor EA strategic choices (e.g. low tick-rate AWS servers, inadequate anti-cheat tools) and poor DICE coding (e.g. lack of rational match-making, hitreg). No moderator neither anyone in the community here can solve this, unfortunately.
As I would say to anyone including myself recently if you’re not able to do your job, try for a new one. There is zero from to even acknowledge the issues. Don’t understand what they actually do except cut and paste. I have integrity these mods dint seem to. Ian considering lodging a legal claim about the various issues. Perhaps if the mods and companies listen there would be no need. I don’t know if you know the game Elite Dangerous. I remember the community manager there reaching out to be with an hour plus phone call to see how they could help. But different to EA/Dice. Anyway thanks for the reply. It’s just a dreadful game from a dreadful company when it should be a great game from a great company.
As I said in another reply its not that they arent able because of incompetence or ineptitude, but rather they have limits on what they are able to say and do.
The EA guys are bound by tons of NDAs on top of just making sure they dont say the wrong things that put the studio and company in a weird spot. Devs always wanna be open and transparent about whats going on trust me on that, but they CANT always do so and here we are where players have that frustration and EA guys wont be able to really say or do much cause they have those red tape limits.
