Equipping vault weapons to battlefield 2042 character classes
I'm trying to use some of these vault weapons to complete some missions and just for the fun of it, but it doesn't seem to be possible. What am I doing wrong?

You can switch to vault weapon before the match starts or set the class with it in menu (before going into game type queue), but only if it shows in the 2042 era collection under vault, (if you are using 2042 specialists), and most vault in 2042 era list are locked if you are running a new acct also . . . some BF 3, 1942 BC 2 weapons doesn't show in 2042 vault (devs didn't put them in 2042 pool) but they will show if you are playing on an era map on default (But you get that era's classes tho) .
