regular caliber machine-gun fire should be shredding the nightbird.
It has less armor than a jeep. The autocannon of a jet should be cutting it in two
If something very agile, you make it very fragile.
Alternatively you take measures so that it is easy to discern and hit if you locate it and your aim is true

Like I said, there are almost no downsides to the Nightbird. Even the stealth chopper is more fragile.
Yeahhh half of the time I'm like where the hell did this damn nightbird go during a 1v1
