Exactly what gun upgrades can you get playing solo battlefield 2042? I see that I can get the first sight playing solo. I'm curious if there's a possibility of getting any more weapon upgrades playing solo against the bots.
As pointed out, only the first 2-3 attachments, after this the progression will stop.
Hopefully Dice will bring back the progression as it was advertised.
So 2-3 attachments for each slot? Sight - Ammunition - Under Barrel - Barrel?
I appreciate all of the answers. So my understanding is that when you first use a weapon, you have zero kills. You have to kill a certain amount (5-10 in most cases) of enemies to reach Mastery 1. The upgrades that require kills of less than Mastery 1 are accessible by playing solo. However, killing a bot does not count as a kill.. so there is no progress made on your Mastery 1 of that weapon. I noticed most every upgrade, but the first sight required at least a Mastery 1. Meaning a person can only (in most cases) open one of the sight upgrades by playing solo or multi-player against the bots. If it had to be just one upgrade.. that would be my pick. My iron sight game is weak. :/

Yes, it was on purpose with good reason. It is a lot easier to kill the bots on easy. Maybe they will make it so you have to kill many bots to get one kill. Maybe less kills for the more difficult settings. Maybe they'll think of something different or maybe they'll leave it like it is. Whatever the case, I think there's more important things to work out first, like why is Breakthrough not loading properly most of the time? It's absolutely infuriating.
Or just give the attachment unlocks but dont count as mastery, easy fix
