@S3SSioN_SoLthat doesn't make my situation any different. Condor still challanges AA which shouldn't be even a thing in the first place. Transport should be scared of AA like fire. Buff AA, make it a separate token so as long as air is available AA is also available on demand and we can talk about balance.
@LlamaWithKatana I can tell you one thing, there ain't a single aircraft that ain't scared of AAs. Coupled with Rao, flying near them is a death trap.
- 4 years ago@S3SSioN_SoL I never saw and air vehicle scared of AA. Slightly annoyed at most. And transport have big enough health pool. Flares during hack, fly away, repair, repeat.
- S3SSioN_SoL4 years agoSeasoned Ace@LlamaWithKatana Again, "I never saw" is poor testament to what is and is not. The facts say, the Hind/Condor will not live long if an AA is in its vicinity.
- 4 years ago@S3SSioN_SoL from match to match I see opposite. The facts say transport don't care much about AA and challenge it in a fight. Is it better now? Hind/Condor are never scared of AA or AA rockets. Even less of Lis.

Even less of Lis.@LlamaWithKatana Fly a transport heli for yourself, and you'll see why you're wrong. They're not piñatas, they're meant to have some kind of defense. And again, after flying them yourself, you'll see why they're vulnerable just like most vehicles. All it takes is Rao, Lis and or an AA.

@S3SSioN_SoLYou’re obviously not spending much time with the Wildcat. I do spend quite a bit of time with all AA in game and compared to the BF3 AA tank, the Wildcat is a joke.
The Wildcat 40mm and 57mm rounds don’t have proper flak physics. I.e. the rounds should be detonating mid air and spraying shrapnel/flak when the rounds get near the aircraft you’re shooting at.
It’s perplexing how DICE can model proper flak physics in BFV then just not even try with 2042.
The end result is that the Wildcats best AA gun is/are the default guns.
Not being able to view straight up on the Wildcat’s guns is another horrible decision by DICE. Though at this point I don’t think anyone at DICE has played enough AA in any game to even know that being able to elevate an AA gun straight up and having proper flak physics are essential to any AA gun. DICE just isn’t aware of these mechanics and they don’t care to know.As far as Hind/Condor. I feel these AC-130 gunship simulators should be moved to the attack aircraft slot, 1 available per team, and that the Blackhawk helicopters(2 per team) should be imported from Portal and placed in the air transport slot.
