Is it pointing towards that iCue is tagged as cheating if used for changing the screen lightning conditions beyond what was intended for the gameplay by the EA developers and possible alone by help of the in-game parameters?
If so, then that is indeed included as part of cheating offenses that will be dealt with.
The issue with EAC and icue was 2 years ago and it meant you got an error message(flagged) not a permaban and it was temporary. It happened with Asus as well
Some peeps are so gullible. Guys you're not getting banned for using icue.
That looks like a violation that prevents the game from starting and also seems to be fixable. But here they originally talked about EAC kick with a message sent to e-mail that talks about ban detection through cheating so that it is not possible to play at all, a difference as I see it.
- @WienerBeard I understand what your saying, I am not saying iCue is the problem or anything else. I was just posting this because I was completely surprised by getting the email this morning, not knowing why.
The fact that this would convert in a hardware ban without appeal or posting a reason why said ban occured is quite something...

Quick search through a few forums shows both EA folks and Corsair techies confirming they work closely together and that it's usage is not causing any bans by EA moderators.

The intend of this topic is to create awareness about the subject of false-positive bans. So I ask everyone who got a false ban to please post the date of the ban, a quick resume of how you got banned, and how many appeals to EA, and the final result of the appeal. This way we can have a perspective of the number of players affected by this injustice.
