False positive bans
I just got a false positive banned from BF2042 this morning, while I was not even home... how is this even possible? I guess its rip my ultimate edition. I believe another user @Gryphonv got the sa...
You don't necessarily need to have cheat software for your profile to be pinged - overlays and pretty much any 3rd party app can trigger something. That said, there is nothing we can really do for you in regards to bans on these forums and it's recommended you contact the ToS team for more information. There are a lot of instances where players aren't given a proper explanation and the team is working to address those potential failures. If this happens, all I can really suggest is trying again.

Right, I think a lot of us are sick of being directed toward the same archaic appeals process that works just as well as everything else in this game.
We get it, bots are a feature. Neat.
Same issue here, got banned on the 14th for cheating, which I didn't do. When I open a case I just get told that they investigated it and the ban was correct.
WTF
I am also having this problem since the 14th too, I was in the middle of game, it crashed and went back to the menu, i restarted the game and had the popup saying I was banned
The worst thing is that on my first appeal, the automated response was saying that I was banned for trading Fifa coins or some crap like that, plot twist, I don't own any Fifa games. Then got a second message saying that the ban is legitimate and they won't revert the decision.
I can't get a refund because I played more than 2h.
I'm at my third appeal. I suspect that they are ordered to reject any appeal, rightful or not, they barely read what you put in your plea. And since it isn't making much noise on social networks and in the press I'm pretty sure they will not do anything. If the third appeal doesn't result in anything positive, I'll push a litigation case with my country's consumer defense association.
