False positive bans

Would farming the Bots to unlock attachments be viewed as an exploit? I did this for one of the guns, I didn't unlock all the attachments, I got bored. But I did kill a few hundred of them over the course of a couple rounds.
@zbran1On the kaleidoscopy at c1 you can set up a marker and do a lot of kills ai, because they aren't too smart to kill you so in my opinion you are not doing anything wrong and your ai team is not even going to take the elevator to take point when most of them were killed a bit funny that maybe it is this is taken as an exploit x)

Well I think I might have got away with it as it was before patch 3 that I did it. If that is the reason I think it's extremely harsh to completely van their accounts. It's not exactly wall hacks or aimbotting is it.
I think for something like that a stern warning is more than enough and a second offence maybe a ban?
It's not like the attachments give much advantage either considering the state they are in.

If you were intentionally farming the AI for unocks, then I think, yes they would see that as exploiting, and I think this is where the problems has arisen.
They have no way to check if people were intentionally 'Farming' for unlocks, or if they were just playing the game mode that had been provided for legitimate reasons.
This is where I believe the False bans are coming from.
They've instituted a policy of;
IF Player A kills > X number of AI - OR achieves Y number of unlocks over Z time-frame - then ban.
So people playing for legitimate reasons would get banned along with people exploiting the ability go gain unlocks from said mode.

I completely understand why the won't tell people why they've been banned when hacking is concerned it wouldn't be a wise move.
But surely someone from EA could say yes or no to the simple question. Is farming the Bots in solo something you can get banned for??
