WTF are they thinking, the ACTUAL cheaters they banned will definitely just grab a new account and hit the F2P.
Unless that's the plan, draw in the cheaters during a F2P so they can narrow down the cheats/test the anti-cheat.
Either way, still feels like a kick in the face after being banned for nothing.

Yea, i'm glad someone posted that link in here from Tom. Couldn't see it for a day since i had a 24 hour ban on here as well. but indeed. Feels more like a kick in the nuts you mean with EA being EA as always.
Game is dead anyways. See a lot on reddit as well that its even that bad that people aren't even able to get a lobby with players to actually start the game. ah well, cba anymore.
I have NEVER cheated! I am 47 year old tried and true gamer and have been playing for over 20 years. I despise cheaters and here I get an email telling me that I've been banned for cheating! I've only played the game twice! I think I am still like a level 5. I went through the process and thought for sure that whatever issue they had on "their" side would be resolved but I get the following email:

Thanks for contacting us about your account action.
We got your note and did a full investigation of your account. After reviewing your case, we determined that we took the correct action in accordance with EA policies and procedures.
What this means
We have confirmed that your account was involved in cheating. Because of this, we will not remove the sanction on your account.

• use software that interferes with or disrupts an EA Service or another user’s account.
• use undocumented features, exploits or cheats in-game that disrupts an EA Service or another user’s account.

Then have the nerve to send me a follow up email asking me how was the service! Really!!!! Game cost me $96.29, played twice and now screwed over. I beyond frustrated even though I had no plans of playing no time in the near future. Life...
@UniDaHeroHi welcome to the group. Everyone seems to get the same rubbish bot response. I doubt a human actually looks at it, our last hope is Tom.
I think we might need to come to terms with, we are not famous, we are nobody players that if they ban nobody is going to fight to get back on and we can cry all we want, end of the day what can we do?
To actually get a human to help here we'd need to be (insert big streamer name).- @VandaLzA I did send Tom the requested information. This is ridiculous. I literally own ever single BF game. I've been here since the beginning and have been running the same hardware since BF3 without any issues. Absolutely nothing has changed on my PC rig. I only played this game twice. Paid to play the beta at close to $100. Played a couple of hours and then didn't play the beta. Played once last month and once a couple of weeks ago and this BS...

I also see that people are saying something about the iCUE software which is used for my Corsair Void Wireless HP. I have MSI Afterburner installed but only use it when I need a little more out of my GTX 1070 for Alyx Half Life in VR. Other than those, I can't think of anything else. I wonder if any of those software violates their T&C.

Now they are realizing that stuff can get them banned. So now game forums are riddled with these False Ban accusations. When they are legit bans.
It amazes me that there are actually gamers out there that dont believe some gaming pc builders will actually sell gaming systems that will get you banned.
I could go out to walmart today buy a modded controller for Call of Duty for my xbox and tell everyone Im using one and be banned from call of duty tomorrow.
Kinda got used to buying stuff and not getting banned in any online game untill this one. Thats why so many people think that way. Overwatch doesn't give a damn , CoD Warzone doesnt give it also, World of Warcraft, Diablo, Apex, Halo.... Which game also does those "free" bans?Oh and also non of previous Battlefields gave away those

BTW no one said that he will get you unbanned. He's just collecting infos about a maximum of banned players to figure out what the problem is.- You’re not going to get anything but a basic generic response from EA and EAC if they are smart about it. The people that code cheats can use that specific info to patch their crapwarez and keep it undetected. These pay to play sellers encourage their users to make public posts that point the finger back at anti-cheat software to claim false positives. Hundreds of thousands of dollars in revenue are what these sellers have at stake and they will do everything in their power to keep the cash flowing in. EA should use the CFAA to go after anyone that interferes with their on-line services for “exceeding authorized access”.
@SeriousJuJuI keep reading this theory that EA doesn't give you the reason why you got banned because cheat providers will have information..Bla bla bla, that is such a simple-minded idea. I tell you this; google BF2042 cheats, and you will be amazed, go to youtube and query for; cheats BF2042 and you will be AMAZED... there are tons of Cheats working and being used right now on BF and they don t get banned just simple players like me, that worked hard to buy the game and play a little after a hard day working and don't give a dam if win or loose or get 40 or 100 kills, just wanna have fun and for that EA BANNED and robbed me.

I don't get the mentality that someone would buy cheats just to ruin the game for him and others. I remember thet every time I used cheat codes or downloaded a trainer for a game, I would have fun for an hour and never comeback to the game again. There was nothing more to be better at , nothing to achieve or earn, whats the point. Its never the same level of dopamine as the knowledge you got better at the game.

The answer I got from that regarding my Subject Access Request was: "We received your latest message regarding the action taken on your account. We have performed all investigations possible on this issue and will not reverse the decision. Please do not expect further responses on this matter."

Well in the beginning it was okay not great but it was kinda okay. Then when go back on dec 8 to make next level 83 , I found out after two weeks I was hacking , wtf ,I played for two weeks then I’m falsely accused of hacking. So I can only assume that I’m not enjoying the game at all

- @gr00bar I've did the same and got no response besides the auto answer. They really don't understand GDPR so I'm looking into legal help here. Also tried reaching out with the same claim through Twitter DM but they just refer to the ToS team.
This is getting really silly and bad looking for EA.
I've since gotten more inside information on my case and the reason for my own ban, but EA seems extremely uninterested to actually help or work with their customers. @SeriousJuJuCheat developers do not need client feedback to improve their obfuscation and reverse engineering techniques. Everything they need to know is publicly available through state-of-the-art academic papers.

- @LALR_Parser I am not so sure anything more will happen. There is no progress in my specific case but hopefully at some point EA will understand they must dig deeper into this.
@EA_Darko I'd be really happy to work with the EA support and give them needed access to my computer to work this out and identify whatever this false culprit actually is. I work in the IT sector and I am very well aware of the false positives that might show up, never had this hard time to get some support for troubleshooting though. Feel free to DM.
