I would put money on that 99% of the people posting here either did nothing at all wrong... just got flagged by broken EAC or may have earned a short temp ban for something as dumb as farming bots on the roof of Kaleidoscope.Reached out to my bank and did a dispute claim on my debit card to get my money back. This will now more than likely trigger Steam to ban and block my account... so EA can unban at some point which would be meaningless for me since I won't even be able to access it. So they'll still get away with royally screwing me over with my 287 hrs invested. I have bad feeling none of this will mean anything... because thinking about now, if they admit to some kind of screwup... they put themselves in the legal crosshairs of people like myself who've lost not only just BF2042 but every game we own on Steam and would be able to go after them for ALL those loses as well.
I am glad to see the toxic players that got banned for chat or cheats have moved over to the forums now!
Anyways, EA is banning for things other than cheats. Macros and toxic chat also. Some of you should really read the ToS.

I know I shouldn't feed the trolls, but if this guy is serious he needs to have his head checked asap.
Clearly he is in the right here, despite the fact that serious gaming journalists and youtubers have started taking this issue seriously. EA can ofcourse do no wrong, since 2042 is polished as a mirror. And its not like EA has had false-positive bans in the past, or have they? /sarcasm

I am not and I did not accuse anyone of Cheating.
I did point out the EA themselves was going to be more serious about the consequences for both cheating and being toxic.
To the ones that read the articles, that seemed to hit the nail on the head, you got what you deserved. I am glad EA is taking a step towards removing players ruining the game.
If you were falsely banned, don't worry. Just submit a ticket and it will get fixed if you were not toxic or cheating. There is nothing that can be done in these forums for bans. EA has never done anything with bans on the forums. In fact, previous moderators would have already locked the thread for even having a discussion on bans.

I am going to reply to you just to point out a flaw in your logic.
Once I have done that I will not be responding to you again.
People ARE being banned without good reason.
Submitting a Ticket DOES NOT work for 99% of cases, as the ToS Team is not actually investigating the cases.
We are NOT expecting anyone in the forums to fix this, we are here to DISCUSS what has happened and gather information that we can use to show EA where the fault lies in their system.
