@VandaLzA I really have no idea how long the process takes, but it's clear that your account issues does have some weight
your cheating cases were always gonna be overturned, because the ban clearly was triggered by a cheat
even if it was not you who triggered it, your account did, it's not a false ban, but it's indeed a security case, that's why it has to start from there to solve it
how will it end and when?
honestly, no idea, but this is the best chance you have, for sure, and I do recommend that anyone under the same issues or possibility of this being an account breach goes this way

@m1k3ol some of us are just screwed regardless... some rightfully others not so much. I'm more than sure my ban is just for having autohotkey installed, the script for it is for a completely different game(Path of Exile) that the dev's allow as it doesn't access memory or click automatically for you... script wasn't even running... The TOS team doesn't feel the need to actually investigate anything...
- @staticsys that's a bit weird, since macros options from different devices like Logitech or Razer are not detected as such, and autohotkey is well known, even for outside gaming
I'm gonna guess there's no weird logins in your data file either? - @staticsys ok, same for my account, that's usually ok, just bots trying to lurk with an old password in an old list from some old hack to other unrelated services online, like forums, apps, pages, etc.
the one thing you could do is check the month and day of the ban (is the one along with year 2089), so you can probably crosscheck what you were doing/using in that day there is deffenitly a pattern with corsair software hardware, and ghub, which i run power suply corsair and ram, plus the ghub cause so many glitches and issues wouldnt suprise if thats what triggered anticheat on these forrums, i herd in a video anticheat software running at certain level may get triggered by certain hardware and software, it was on utube cant remember the name but really interesting and lots of people running same hardware, all i know is i dont cheat why would i destroys the fun of the game, until this is sorted wont be giving ea any of my money.

One day ( the 2 january ) i play at 11h am, a nice game , cool , and After i Can play at 4.00 pm and my surprise i was Ban .
I try too explain my problem but i received a robot mail , not a physically person who write.
I test anything but it's seem EA was a Big company with just a robot.
In the forum FR and UK they comunity Of EA write the same thing like a robot.
I don't understand, so difficult for an employe , to take a real investigation of the case ? Who investigate the case ? A bot ?
Nobody of EA employe read thé forum FR , UK and report thé Real problem of the false positive?
Half of player of bf 2042 left the game ,but if half player has ban for nothing it's totally normal that are no player in game.

Stuff you are saying about cross dates and all. Do you really think, that a ban for most of us here happend more than 1 month ago we will all remember exactly what we did that day? what a joke. Remembering that stuff today wouldn't be needed if EA did their due diligence and work the appeal cases serious instead of just smacking the ban hammer and let us rot. Where is that appeal button for then in the first place?

There is no use in contacting bot support anymore, so i will at least try to see if steam is willing to help me out.- @deluxuz I requested a refund from Steam but it was rejected. I do not blame Steam nevertheless (I played 194.7 hours and pre-ordered the game in June 2021). Players should try and maybe they will get refunds.
That explains a lot of things " A #Battlefield2042 Cheat provider is suspending it's services to the game... And no... It's not because of Anti-cheat. It's because the games performance makes the cheats not work properly "

how is anyone gotta know that's an issue if you are ok about it?, that would also lead for the hacking by the idiot getting in your account to be an approved action by the account holder (and thus a correct ban), don't you think?
think of this like a bank account, you immediately go and report the security issues so the charges can be reversed, that's the best analogy for this @m1k3ol Where exactly did I say that someone shouldn't act on a security issue? But then again. In a perfect world EA should notify you about a new login when successful from a unknown location. hek what do I know about it right? How would someone be able to get in to my account with 2FA enabled? they need to have my phone.
What I am saying is, is that EA isn't doing anything about this and just let us rot and mark us as cheaters even tho a lot here in this thread are false positives on something that triggered it. Personally my account didn't contain any login attempts only a few successful ones whom where from me. Then why do disputes just get closed and get a static reply from the so called TOS team telling me "that they did a investigation and think they done everything and wont reconsider the decision"?
I know for a fact that EA's applications are not requiring you to fill in your 2FA code everywhere. I think you only need to do that in the desktop app. Don't you tink that is a security flaw anyways?
If a system has 2FA it SHOULD require you to fill it in everywhere you can use this account unless you say trust this device for xxx days, and not only limit it to just the desktop app. What is the point of having 2FA if you can just head over to the site and login without 2FA and change account details?
@ItsOnlyM3-NLI can't talk on anything regarding hacks here, but lemme tell you, yes, there are ways for hackers to get in and bypass F2A, they need to have certain access through other ways and other devices, which would be very specific per case on how or why it happened, and not related to "they have my password", so that takes some work on your side to know or identify how, because the TOS team will need that info, it's not like they can see into your system by themselves automatically
so far, there's no widespread security issues, and the only thing I can find online is about people that got targeted in FIFA, but nothing related to an EA specific issue other than social engineering
nothing on this thread have a common denominator, people with the same brands and hardware are not widespread banned, so it's not a brand issue specifically either, plus, all the ones that also acknowledged they DID had security issues, so, it's not like this whole thread can be looked at and act upon the same for everyone
that's why my best suggestion is for everyone to approach their case under their own particular circumstances
if the system identified the ban on a specific hack, even if it was not you on your account, you'll get banned, and that's unavoidable- @m1k3ol So did you ever hear back from the staffer about my case? I certainly have not heard a peep since the last update I posted.
We(human beings) have found a clear breach on my account that I had no knowledge of as EA's security thinks it's perfectly normal for me to be logging in all over the planet with zero challenge from 2FA. And no, I do not have some massive security breach where they have access to my authenticator apps etc, as my Bf2042 account would certainly be the least of my worries.

That said, there were a lot of failed attempts. Also it most definitely did not show each time and IP where Origin launched. It looks like it only showed logins from the website, but possibly Origin if you log in(ie: you have to put in your user pass). I had around 4 successful logins that were all me over more than a month where I was playing nearly daily.
I would love to see all IPs that played the game with my account.

No one can get access to my TOTP code that is on my phone. They would need my phone physical in their hands to get into my account but that EA does not require the TOTP code on all their locations where you can login with that same account is just one big security flaw! And btw EA is known about their breaches hell, even a employee was selling accounts that had big value on Apex.
There is no way to talk with the TOS team on a normal way to have the thing sorted out because they don't read your ticket they just send a canned response over and over and over. So no I don't bother creating cases anymore because EA doesn't give a flying * about that is happening to their customers. I will never ever buy from EA again, I'll even make sure every one I know don't after this whole dumpster fire.
Oh andd btw, i know they can steal browser sessions, but that would mean my pc has a backdoor/rat/whatever. Good scanner does the job against that.
