False positive bans

My account was banned from playing BF2042 during the Steam free weekend in December. Both my Steam and EA accounts are in good standing (+15 years of use and over 700 games in my Steam account with no bans of any kind) and no one at EA can give me any information regarding this ban. I play multiple games that use EAC and none have given me any issues whatsoever, so I do not understand what this is related to. It even stated that my "violation was extreme", which is as weird as a wording I could possibly get. Two attempts to appeal, one when it happened and a second one today, have taken me nowhere closer to knowing the reason for the ban.

Now, I do understand that there's nothing that could be done about it, but this is an open forum where BF2042 players can discuss their issues. Has anyone else faced this same issue?

  • I already did, they said it's irreversible. As I said, I'm not looking for a fix. I'm looking for community discussion of this issue.

If our TOS team has denied our appeal then there is nothing anyone can do to change this.
