You are on the right way. As a Battlefield player myself, I'm very grateful that the community is being heard on this.
Nobody wants to play the Alamein, but I think Battle of the Bulge is a map that can stay on.
I would also like to tell you that the RUSH mode is one of the most loved by us, the players. It would be nice if you thought about adding it as Flashback Conquest and Infantry Conquest.
Finally tell you that many people are playing Battlefield 2042 again and and that the game is much more enjoyable than it was months ago, thanks to your work. But this is not over, there is much work to be done. Continue for this way.

Great change, now we'll at least have one consistently good/worth playing mode in the featured portal servers. Tweaks to the maps/vehicles are solid too, MAV wasn't "terrible", but definitely changed the dynamics of infantry only in a big way.
Sad it took 7 months for this to happen, but it's better late than never, at least we're seeing something happen with portal outside of just rotating promoted weekly modes.
Now to wait for the actually interestingly experimental/silly modes to start finding their way into the rotation and not just the same "standard mode with a minor tweak" that we've largely seen so far. Portal still feels like a massive missed opportunity with huge potential.
At this point Portal should be the BF game, AOW ain't it. Portal has so, so, so much more potential.
