Flashback Conquest the saving grace since reinstalling

I uninstalled last December and recently reinstalled for Zero Hour to see what’s changed. 

Impossibly there’s still no map rotation or server browser for the core game modes which resulted in only 3 maps being available on core Conquest the entire weekend post Zero Hour going live. Needless to say I was surprised that I actually had less maps to play with Xero Hours debut then I did at launch. 

Today, Monday, thank goodness 64 player “Flashback Conquest” dropped and oh baby, the magic feeling is back! Map rotations! 

Unfortunately squads aren’t carrying over from

one match to the next and the “change squad” UI is a useless mess. I cannot comprehend how changing squads and managing squads is so intuitive and so easy in all past BF games but we get the dollar store version in 2042! 

Anyway I hope that Flashback Conquest becomes a permanent addition. It’s some of the most fun I’ve had in 2042.

    @PsychopskiI feel flashback conquest is a useless server. Now that normal conquest has the 2042 maps and the old maps why play something that just has the old maps? Seems like I would get bored really quickly with just a small amount of maps. Not to mention Aleimin(sp?) is one of the worst maps I've ever played in any game

    @HARLEMnycityYou’re obviously not playing normal 128 Conquest since the past Friday. Or your powers of observation are lacking. The only 3 Conquest maps than ran that 72 hour period, until this morning(Monday am) we’re Exposure, Hourglass and Discarded. Three maps.

    Today I finally saw my first Orbital map. I think DICE rebooted something this morning so the other maps are now popping. Mostly though I’m still seeing Exposure and Discarded. 

    So yes, Flashback Conquest is a nice change of pace from having Exposure and Discarded shoved down my throat the last 72 hours.

    A simple map rotation and server browser for the core Conquest game mode would fix all of this nonsense.

    @Psychopski I've been playing this game since launch. I play the PS4 version. I have always felt flashback conquest is a useless playlist. I play Infantry Conquest which has always had all of the new and old maps. Since the last update normal conquest has had all of the old and new maps. I stand by that Flashback Conquest is dumb. Just play normal Conquest which has all of the maps.

    If someone wants to play all of the classic naps one after the other, then Flashback Conquest is the only way of doing this.

    Yes the classic maps are now also available as part of an AOW playlist but you have no guarantee you will be able to play any of the classic maps in this mode as MM does not have map rotation.

    @HARLEMnycityYou’re not comprehending the issue in its entirety. Queuing for any game mode on All out Warfare ensures you will get the same 2 or 3 maps every time because there’s no map rotation.

    This past weekend Exodus Conquest was running Arica Harbor, Exposure and  Discarded 24/7.Three maps.  Normal Conquest was also only running 3 maps. Exposure, Hourglass or Discarded.

    I don't know why your so focused on something that was only messed up for a few days. The map rotation is fixed. I played tonight and played in both old and new maps. Since they added the old maps into the exodus rotation flashback conquest is pointless. They should just permanently have Infantry Conquest

    Once they add a Server Browser in AOW, Exodus Conquest will be the best mode. 

    Right now I want classic maps + Exposure with a persistent server.

    In Exodus Conquest you could still be put into the same map 3 times in succession and theoretically not see a classic map all day.
    In Flashback Conyuest you are guaranteed to be able to play through all the maps in rotation.
